Krrish 3 Plot
The new 2013 Krrish 3 starring Hrithik Roshan & Priyanka Chopra revolves around Krrish and his father who must defeat human-animal mutants created by Kaal, an evil genius who’s aimed to destroy the world. His horrid, mutant army is led by a mutant, Kaya.

Krrish 3 is definitely a huge leap for Indian cinema in terms of the Red Chillies’ special effects after Shah Rukh Khan starrer Ra.One(2011). However, the movie hardly offers anything extraordinary or at least different. Multiple Hollywood superhero genre movies mutated into one badly crafted movie. Only good CGI & good actors can’t save a film if the story & presentation is dull. If you see enough Hollywood action/superhero films then you know what I’m talking about. X-Men series recrafted into this cheap version that has action scenes plainly copied from Man of Steel(2013).
Very predictable story- again if you watch enough English film you know. In this film, mutants are introduced in a total shoddy way. It’s acceptable that Red CHillies did an awesome work with the CGI, copying Man of Steel style actions, if not made with care, won’t be believable. The mutants look like ‘Hollywood Mutants’ too. However, in 2013 Krrish 3 was able to break all the box office records and become the highest grosser ever in the history of Indian cinema, but that was only when it was released.
But Rakesh Roshan & others who worked on the script couldn’t come up with anything new. I think even a 15-year-old superhero fan could bring up a new concept if given the authority to do so. Even Vivek Oberoi‘s Kaal imitates Charles Xavier from the X-Men series ditto. Too many bummers to handle for superhero genre lovers, & that is the majority of the young population. Even in the last action scenes, the make-up felt horrible on the villain.
The simple thing about the Krrish 3 movie is that there are rumors that there might be a follow-up part to this. If Rakesh Roshan continues to be the director of this film & they plan to make it a franchise, we can’t help but feel sorry for Hrithik Roshan (not that one fail film is gonna affect his career).
VERDICT
Just another superhero flick, with mutants unwantedly thrown here & there. A very predictable story that shouldn’t be watched in theatres if you value your money. Oh, even the Krrish 3 songs feel forcefully inserted into the script to fit the Bollywood entertainment definition.
