Story of chhapaak movie 2020:
The movie starts by throwing some light on the nirbhaya case 2012 in the initial scene where the entire public of Delhi is shown pleading justice for the victim. It gives a flash back to all the incidents happening in India with main emphasis on women’s safety and how the legal system fails to deliver justice to the victims. The movie immediately follows to depict Malti’s side of the story; allowing us to sympathize with the character and helping us understand the mentality behind such heinous crimes. Meghna gulzar, the director tries to captivate the attention of viewers through some emotional courtroom drama where there is an in-favor and out-of-favor turn of event for malti.

The Director Meghna Gulzar portrays a beautiful and brave story of Laxmi Agarwal who is a real life acid attack survivor. Chhapaak is an accurate and honest portrayal of the incident that will strengthen and empower voices of many women. The main character is played by Deepika Padukone of malti, who encounters an acid attack in the streets of Delhi by a family friend, Bashir Khan or Babbu as called throughout the movie.
The narrative of chhapaak movie 2020 is concise and grasping, followed by some strong performances by the entire cast. We are introduced to Malti when she is on a run for getting a job to distract herself from the emotional scars that remain from the disturbing acid attack. While her physical scars, is undergoing several surgeries. Her dream of being a singer is shattered and her life gets stuck between her court case, her surgeries and her work at NGO for acid victims. However the film manages to glide away from melodrama and tries to show us the powerful side of malti who is determined to seek her justice with her unbelievable spirit. REVIEW of Baaghi 3 movie
With the unfortunate events happening in her family from her brother’s illness to her father’s death she seems to lack the much needed support. It is Malti’s lawyer Archana (Madhurjeet Sarghi), who has her back throughout malti’s journey. Her teams of powerful women lawyers fight against the system single handedly by filing PIL and banning the sale of acid. Her true supporter Amol (Vikrant Massey, who employs her to work for his NGO) gives her the extra boost.
Deepika Padukone is the hero of the complete film, giving an immensely mind-blowing performance. Additionally, there are quite a few scenes that will give you goosebumps -like the one when she picks up her earring but realizes now she can’t wear it on her face or her heart throbbing screams when she watches her face in a mirror after the attack. The real reason why Malti’s character is winning heart is because nowhere she is seen to have self-pity. Throughout the film we see glamour of deepika padukone. Baaghi 3 film

The dialogues of chhapaak movie 2020 are kept sober while a few dialogues are amazing enough to get you up. Remaining silence is filled out by deepika’s outstanding expressions. Whenever you see her on the screen, you are tempted to say ‘what a brave and fighting character she is’.
‘Chhapaak movie 2020’ is for sure a film that will stay in your mind for a while. It is a sensitive and authentic film that boldly addresses crime against women in India, and shows so many silent voices that need to be heard.
