Story:
Vijay Varma (Hamza Shaikh) and Badrunissa Shah(Alia Bhatti) fall in love.
Plus Points:
Vijay Varma played a variety of roles in movies but gave an equal performance. This is how he lived his entire life.
It is well-written. This is what makes it so great.
There are scenes that make you weep. Roshan Matew and Shefali Shaikh are great and build a strong connection with the characters.
Minus points:
The second half of the hour is slower than the first.
Very few scenes feel repetitive.
The victim’s trauma and mental agony would have been more visible to the world.
Technical Aspects
The music in the film is situational.
Jasmeet K.Reen was an excellent director. She chose a topic that was both hot and current in today’s society. Her use of dark humor and humor to tell the story was remarkable.
Few dialogues are worthy of praise. Shefali Shah mentions in a scene how Twitter has changed the world. This is an excellent tool that’s relevant for today’s users.
Verdict:
Darlings, a well-made film, provokes thought.
