The ‘most’ anticipated Friends Reunion release date has been announced. The Internet went crazy when HBO Max along with many of the Friends’ original cast-Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox & Matt Le Blanc shared the news on their Instagram story. The cast of the iconic sitcom was finally able to film the reunion special last month, after a lengthy delay due to the pandemic.
It won’t be a series of episodes but more of a talk-&-fun single episode, more of a Jimmy Fallon/Kimmel Show. Hence, the Friends: The Reunion episode is titled ‘The One Where They Get Back Together’. It will bring back our favorite cast once again together- David Schwimmer (Ross), Mathew Perry (Chandler), Courtney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), and Jennifer Aniston (Rachel). It will also bring back characters- Gunther, Janice, Jill, and Richard. Other guest celebrities include David Beckham, BTS, Cara Delevingne, Mindy Kaling, Malala Yousafzai, James Corden, Justin Bieber & Lady Gaga.
Friends: The Reunion India release date & how to watch it online
Friends Reunion is scheduled to release on May 27th in the US. The episode will premiere on HBO Max streaming service. The release date of Friends Reunion in India is not confirmed yet.
As for watching it online in India won’t be easy as HBO Max is not available in India yet. Friends fans may have to wait a little longer to watch the reunion special online as it won’t be streaming on any other platform. However, Netflix is the platform that holds the exclusive rights to stream all episodes of Friends in India. So it can be expected that Netflix could stream the reunion special episode in the country in the future.
Seeing the six members together in the same set since the release of Friends finale back in May 2004 is sure to bring tears to most of the fans.
